For those in a Blank State..
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else

Lemony Snicket A Series of Unfortunate Events...
Funny how I thought I could treat myself to a short day..
Plan was to do my prac 4, head to Paragon and get zumsteg's pants then to Wisma for his shirt. Then down to LaSalle for him to try those on. Prob dinner somewhere nearby after...
But turned out that, I did get the wrong size of pants after all so had to go back to Paragon and get it changed... and just my luck that they don't have the size we want.. Clever meee... So had to spend almost half an hour there to let him choose something else as the shop has a policy of no cash refunds. Dang it.
And our search for the exclusive pants began... Muji.. Ben Sherman.. Marks and Spencer... Timberland... Metro... Dockers... No nice pants.. At 9-ish pm.. tired and hungry (both of us had no lunch)... zumsteg threw in the towel and said he'll just wear his jeans... we end up having dinner at Paragon and him with 2 shirts in his bag...
Well, I guess at least they were nice shirts... Riteeeee...?????
Haiyahhh.. my classes start tonight leehhhh... Hairspray anyone???

Last Week...
I passed my RTT.
We decided that next year we'll go for Inno's birthday bash just for that last part where we take stupid pictures of ourselves (Az-I want the pics!!).
We caught Jason Bourne who was damn hawt.
I did my prac 4 in the rain.
Other than that, today my back still hurts.
Cycling on Saturday anyone?? I wanna crank up some gears.

Bizzyyy Beeezzznezz
Had to postpone buying my Mac cos found out the new software will only launch in Oct or Nov. So I might as well wait.
My colleague was on leave, so had to cover for her these past few weeks. Due to that, my move to T2 has to be pushed back as well. Now I'm amidst a pile of papers to get done, meetings to coordinate, packing to finish up and typing out a handover manual for the girl who's taking over my place. Come Sept 1, I will have a whole new world to look into.
Bike pracs has been contant but the progress is kinda slow at the moment. RTT is this Sat and I think I'll prob feel the jitters later. Class starting soon. Next week actually. Kinda looking forward to that but it being on a Friday kinda suck.
Anyways, Saturday is masquerade day. Got my little outfit ready and now working on the mask..
Ok I seriously wanna sleep.

Can We do That Again???
Weekend was a blastttt!! Amazingly I stayed in SG and I lurved every single minute.
Got the car on Wed night and drove around for a bit. Kinda sucky at driving a Manual... Haha. Been driving too much Auto. Caught a late movie at Great World and supper at Niqqi's. Wanted to go Spize but was damn packed lah.
Thur, supposed to accompany zumsteg to the cemetry but car gave us some problems. Haha. He drove all the way to Boon Lay just to have the car break down and we had to take the bus back all the way to Hougang. Pit stop at Causeway Point and got some stuff.
Friday morning got a surprise call from laday Pat from SPH. Informing me I have just won a set of season 1 and 2 dvds of American Chopper. Woot woot. So me and zumsteg put on our cycling gear and head down to Toa payoh from Hougang on our Konas. Lunched at Toa Payoh before heading back to Hougang to collect a new vehicle from the rental guy. The ride back was awesome. Even tho the distance was not our usual route of Kallang to Changi and back, the hills and stuff totally made up for it. Imagine us on our mtb busting our legs and ass off. Night time saw me and the whole zumsteg clan over at Mustaffa. Burned a hole in my wallet with an impulse purchase of my Nike Oregon watch. Actually not an impulse I must say... I have been eyeing it since like years ago. Even though the design is totally outdated, I so so lovveee it. Drove them home and drove myself home at 80km/h along PIE. I was that sleepy.
Change of plans on Saturday saw us at Tanjong Beach at 2pm. Wanted to do Ubin but changed our minds about cycling when we saw the sun. But we managed to do a short stop at Treknology over at Siglap to get our helmets. Did I ever mention that having a car to drive to Sentosa is like such a nice feeling. Dammit. Everything was easy peasy. Changing and all and no excess baggage. Sigh.... Big Bikes at Millenia after that. Nothing impresive lah actually. Thot can see bikes like those in American Chopper or what... Lucky free...
We finally managed to head down to the cemetry on Sunday. Did the necessary before heading for dinner at West Coast. Drove back to Hougang to return the car and supper and soccer at Serangoon with a Mr Tan Tiong Beng. Man U drew with Reading. Bleargh. Man U's midfield was superb but their finishing was damn lousy. Or maybe Reading's defence and keeper was damn tight lah. As zumsteg told me through out the game...
"Reading is reading Man U very well ah..."
Rite.. But whaddaheck... I had too nice a time to be beating myself over a stupid draw...
Ok.. xneiax outs.

New Beginning or Sweet Ending??
Sweetness came in the forms of a bunch of girls whom I played with during STL. I received bombardments of smses from them asking me to just play with them to finish of this season instead of letting it go to waste. From assurance that they are not expecting anything from me to telling me that they just want to have fun.
To those who have msged me or emailed me in any way, thank you for your kind words.
Hehe. To the crazy bunch of young girls.. You totally caught me off guard. Like totally.
I have not managed to give anyone an answer as of now. It's kinda awkward actually. I'm feeling free as of now. From the emotional hoo haa. Feeling light hearted and happily doing other stuff. Been cycling again. Been running. Just cos I want to.
On another part, I do feel the itch of calling people up for a game of touch. Just simple meet up at an open space and play touch. I also do think of what's happening at turf last Saturday.
Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say now is I'm enjoying my flow. Just slow and steady. No commitments to keep to and not rushing into anything.
Give me some time babes. Just a little bit of time to enjoy whatever I have now and recharge. I'm not rejecting anyone. I'm not dissing anyone...
I'm just enjoying my sunshine...
Weeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And you guys enjoy yours too yeah!!!

Dear Barras,
Retail therapy is always good for the soul.
Good quality crushed ice works wonders too.
I've decided. To some it may be a small matter. It took me months to realise that my answer has been in front of me all along. Only that I kept denying to myself and to finally gather my courage to say it out and to seal it shut, so that no changes can be made.
Please don't think I'm still angry. I'm no longer angry at all and I have no grudges against anyone. I'm very sorry to anyone who thinks I've wasted their time and effort, be it training me or getting my jerseys.
Just that I can no longer see myself playing just to prove a point that I can still play. Maybe I no longer have the competitive edge in me but yeah, I still love the game. I still love you guys.
Who knows, when I turn 20+++ or 30+++ and I've finally lost weight and can run faster, I'll come for your try outs again. Maybe TS will start a Womens' Master by then.
So I guess this is it. So I'll see you guys around.
Good luck for NTL.
Love,
Aien
